Francis Koroma was invited to speak at the Reimagining My Community (RMC) program at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, sharing the journey that led to the founding of the Francis Koroma Foundation.
Speaking to students and community members, he described how mentorship and opportunity changed the course of his own life — and why the foundation exists to extend that same support to young people who are ready to rise.
The visit was a reminder that the work of the foundation is rooted in community: in classrooms, on campuses, and in conversations that help a young person see what is possible.
