Speaker Series
A platform and an experience: leaders from every field share their stories of leadership and success — and young people ask them the questions.
About the programme
Leaders from every field sharing their stories, live and on record, with the next generation.
The FKF Speaker Series is both a platform and an experience. We invite influential and prominent figures to share their personal leadership and success stories with our community, and young people can ask the guest speaker questions — live, via the stream, or before the event.
Sessions are hosted virtually, so anyone can join from wherever they are, and pre-recorded sessions are available on this website and on all of the foundation's social media platforms.
We select our guest speakers thoughtfully, from among the most respected in their fields — business, entrepreneurship, leadership, sports, politics, health, technology and more — each with a unique story to inspire the next generation of global leaders. The series' first guest, on 1 March 2024, was Sierra Leone's Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Hon. Francis Ben Kaifala; the full conversation is below.

The difference it makes
Why it matters to the next generation
Role models within reach
Hearing from leaders who once stood where they stand turns ambition from an abstraction into a path a young person can picture themselves walking.
The real story, setbacks included
Guests share the doubts, failures and decisions behind their success — the part of leadership that rarely makes it into a CV or a textbook.
A direct line to leaders
Young people put their own questions to people they might otherwise never meet, and hear the answers first-hand.
No barrier to the room
Hosted virtually and published afterwards, every session reaches young people wherever they live — no travel needed, and no one misses out.
A path for every interest
With guests from business to sport to health and technology, every young person can find someone whose field matches their own ambitions.
Values, not just achievements
Speakers talk about integrity, resilience and service — like the series' first guest, on why building trust is where the fight against corruption begins.
